December Poem

On Turtle Creek, 8x10 inches, watercolor (sold)

December
Linda Pasten

The white dove of winter
sheds its first
fine feathers;
they melt

as they touch
the warm ground
like notes
of a once familiar

music; the earth
shivers and
turns towards
the solstice.

Sherry, I am LOVING all your landscapes, but especially this one! Is this watercolor? I hope it's framed and hanging on your wall. It has lovely colors and a great "mood."

BTW, can you still use Shelfari with the new changes? I can't do anything on my site, it is totally unusable now.
